We've Had A Glow Up!

At a time when politicians are difficult to reach, our digital relaunch will make our communications clearer, closer, and more connected.

Hey Sherwood Park!

Big news! Over the past few months, my team and I have been hard at work restructuring some of our communications tools in order to serve you better. These include a new website, blog, e-newsletter, and a new focus on social media. Let me walk you through the changes.

Website — kylekasawski.ca
The new website is a one-stop-shop for all of my work as MLA for Sherwood Park. Here is what you’ll find there:

Services & Resources — Bookings for free notary services, congratulatory certificates, and advocacy support, as well as links to community resources.

Events — Listings for events hosted by our office in Sherwood Park, like our annual Bowling for Charity event, open houses, and more.

News — Updates on the latest in local, provincial, and Legislature news.

Newsletter
All of us hate getting spammed by email. It loads up our inboxes, takes up our time, and the sheer volume of it drives us bonkers. Rather than bombarding you with constant updates from my office, I have decided to launch a monthly e-newsletter. It will include top stories, legislative news, constituency office updates, upcoming events, and more.

Existing Substack subscribers will automatically receive my new digital newsletter.

Blog
For the past eighteen months, I have been reposting my Sherwood Park News columns and other items on Substack. It was always intended to be a temporary solution, and I am happy to say that all of my columns will now be hosted in the “News” section of my website.

The Substack account will continue to be up until the end of November 2025, but all new posts after those will be posted on my website. I will continue to share my blog posts on social media, as well as through the e-newsletter.

Social Media — @ndpkyle
The social media landscape is constantly changing, for good and for ill. As such, I’ve spent the past few months trying out new platforms, while abandoning older, less impactful sites. Moving forward, you’ll be able to learn more about my work as your MLA and Shadow Minister for Municipal Affairs, as well as all the wonderful goings-on in Sherwood Park through the following channels:

Facebook

Instagram

• Bluesky

• YouTube

BlueSky has turned out to be the superior platform in terms of reach and impact, so I will no longer be using my Threads or Twitter/X accounts to share news with constituents. They will go dormant and remain inactive, effective immediately.

I encourage you to visit the new website, and to sign up for the free e-newsletter. Oh, and tell a friend or two!
